What do you think of this poem?
The Healing Place "The Vietnam Veterans Memorial" seems misnamed "cure place ', because it is a solemn occasion to see all those mothers and fathers, wives and children, friends and colleagues, and to endure the endless stream of tears. I been witness to writing in the "wall", and you can see all the different shades of pink and felt in the numerous poems, letters and other mementos left behind. These articles speak a statement mourning the loss and suffering you feel is exactly the same every day, year after year, decade after decade. For me, this wall is a place of release, a "place of mourn'…. I guess it's a kind of healing after all. So, now that we have lived through the big lie and now we have to face and feel the sorrow and shame and outright shameful waste of these lives here in this rock carving black and cold, and I cried have died and thousands of times.
